A tale of 3 Photographers January 8, 2015

We always get excited when Gerry comes to visit. He's been with us enough times now he's become part of our family! His photos are phenomenal and can be seen at his website by clicking Here. This year we got to meet Kay and have her join us on a St Johns River tour. There was a lot of wildlife to see. The Great Egrets, Great Blue Herons, Limpkins, Anhingas, Wood Storks, Ospreys, Snowy Egrets, Little Blue Herons and the Barred Owl were all playing, napping or trying to catch some breakfast and we got to see a few Manatees which is always a nice bonus. We even had one blow it's mist right in our faces... hmmm water lettuce breathe ;-). Back in Snake Creek the White Ibis were rooting up the swamps and we saw a Fishing Spider hanging out doing his thing. Already the Red Maple and Elm Trees are seeding and popping out new growth. Today Kenny, Kay and Gerry were all taking pics. What makes these tours special is the people behind the camera with a love of the Wildlife & Mother Nature and having friends to go exploring with.
